BCI Market Development Manager Shelby Sackett recently returned from a trip to South America promoting U.S. cranberries on behalf of the Cranberry Marketing Committee (CMC). She traveled to Brazil and Colombia with CMC Executive Director, Danny Raulerson. Together, in partnership with River Global and the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service Agricultural Trade Offices, they hosted a series of technical education seminars and attended the Expo La Barra trade show in Colombia. Both countries are new and emerging markets for U.S. cranberries, and raising awareness of their health benefits and versatility is key to driving demand.
