On June 6, 2023, Bryant Christie Inc. organized the semi-annual American Potato Trade Alliance (APTA) meeting in Washington, D.C. APTA brings together quick service restaurants, frozen fry and dehydrated potato processors, and potato grower groups to address international trade issues affecting U.S. potato exports. APTA is the organization that seeks tariff reductions, addresses missing pesticide maximum residue levels (MRLs), resolves labeling and documentation issues, and responds to emergency market access issues that may develop. The organization allows the U.S. potato industry to speak with a unified voice on trade issues.
Bryant Christie Inc. has managed APTA for 25 years. BCI organizes the events, sets the agendas, and addresses priorities emerging from the meeting. BCI manages several industry organizations like APTA.
